Welcome to the Beachouse Shop which opened with decor & gifts in Emu Park, a friendly, sleepy beachside community with spectacular views on the Capricorn Coast of Central Queensland in 2003.

Historically this traditional Queensland style corner store has seen much varied and brisk enterprise, many locals will readily part with memories of enjoying take-away food and many hours within it's walls as a fun parlour.

Nearing 2008, the store certainly retains that ambiance and has generated a reputation for it's definite bohemian, eclectic and colourful collection of treasures from far and wide which includes leathergoods, jewellery, shells, candles, beach decor, homewares, and gourmet fine foods. We also like to stock goods manufactured in Australia. Hampers and themed gift packs are a specialty, we also take pride in providing our colourful free gift-wrapping service.

In March 2007, an espresso bar and gelateria were launched instore and blend strongly with the eclectic and colourful life of the gift store.

We manufacture authentic Italian Gelato sorbet and ice cream instore with natural ingredients and machinery imported from Italy. How can you go past flavours including traditional lemon sorbet, passionfruit sorbet, ferrer rocher, hazelnut, biscotti, chocolate cream and our newest flavour xmas rum pudding on a hot summer's day while you enjoy a walk on Main & Shelley's Beach with a view of the Pacific Ocean all in one day?

We provide a free broadband internet service available to our customers.. simply purchase a drink or something to eat and you may use the internet station for no extra charge.

We invite you to browse online our menu and our gift store. Our cafe bar is all about enticing the locals with good coffee, and a tasty experience of nice ingredients for snacks and healthy light food. While we acknowledge our sweets and ice cream may not be classed as 'healthy', be assured they are of natural ingredients and a definite treat! Our gift side has diminished to make way for the cafe bar, however continues to consolidate beautiful treasures and promote lifestyle at the beach...
